This product is specifically engineered for grinding materials with a hardness greater than 15 HRC, making it a strong alternative to diamond pads, especially when working with larger ceramic or sintered carbide specimens. It performs particularly well on ferrous materials but is not recommended for use with ductile substances. The product comes in several variations, each designed to deliver a surface finish similar to silicon carbide (SiC) abrasives in grit sizes 80, 120, or 220, as classified by the FEPA P standard.
